MacDonald's sixth state (of 6), with the drypoint lines across the chest and pipe of the man smoking at left. A brilliant, richly-inked impression of this important etching, with abundant velvety burr, the multitude of delicate lines in the sky distinct and with strong contrasts. Kennedy 66; Glasgow 70.
