Folio, 300x195 mm, later reversed leather over wooden boards with metal center- and cornerpieces and catches, later crude lettering pieces, lacking clasps, recased, endpapers renewed, front cover detached, rear joint cracked and chipped; margins trimmed entering some headlines and sidenotes, contents toned and soiled with marginal dampstaining throughout, scattered marginal repairs occasionally affecting text. 17th- and 18th-century family records and miscellaneous inscriptions on verso of part titles and elsewhere.
