        (AMERICAN INDIANS.) Attractive album of postcards depicting American Indians. 368 postcards inserted into 75 leaves. 4to (13 x 9 inches), original gilt pictorial cloth, minimal wear; contents clean and nicely displayed. Vp, circa 1895-1950

        These images span North, Central and South America. Among the dozens of Real Photo postcards in this impressive album are "Geronimo, the Greatest Indian Chief, as a U.S. Prisoner" (W.H. Martin, 1909) * "Eskimo Medicine Man, Alaska, Exorcising Evil Spirits" * "Navajo Indians Butchering Sheep" (Pomona, CA: Frasher's, circa 1925-42) * Many of the others are chromolithographed.
