Large folio, 462x368 mm; 18 1/4x14 1/2 inches, 19th century straight-grained red morocco with central gold medallions with holy monogram, spine with 7 compartments and gilt-stamped raised bands, joints rubbed, a few with some mild restoration, overall moderate wear; all edges trimmed and gilt; scattered foxing, sometimes heavy, Vol. 7 with dampstaining to lower gutters of last 10 leaves, affects margins, list of subscribers in Vol. 1 (including The King, Queen, and Prince of Wales) and Dedication; bookplates of Edward Francis Searles, and with an ALS from Samuel Fisher, son of original subscriber T.
