An unusual propaganda pamphlet apparently produced by the Communist Party for American distribution. It has no title page or imprint, and begins with the facsimile of an 1864 congratulatory letter to newly re-elected Abraham Lincoln which Karl Marx drafted on behalf of the International Working Men's Association. Next is a facsimile of another early document from the Soviet archives, followed by an English translation of Marx's 1869 essay "The Abolition of Landed Property: Memorandum for Robert Applegarth." OCLC lists just 3 copies, at the University of Kansas, Berlin, and the Danish National Library.
