(MADAME TUSSAUDS WAX MUSEUM--THE BEATLES)
A mini-archive documenting the production of the Beatles exhibit for Madame Tussauds in Hollywood, California.
Apparently photographed and documented by a freelance reporter infected with "Beatlemania," who considered themselves "one-in-a-million" for being able to visit the wax figure studio. The archive highlights the various aspects of the detail oriented production, describing and illustrating how "each hair of the eyebrow was placed separately into the head of Paul," as well as describing the inclusion of the false eyes, teeth, and numerous accessories. Silver prints (20), the images measuring approximately 8x10 inches (20.3x25.4 cm.), most with the photographer/reporter's hand stamp, and a few with notations, in pencil or ink, on verso. 1960s

WITH-- The reporter's negatives and typewritten manuscript of the article draft entitled "I Watched the Beatles Being Born."
