Additional Details

The two-act Broadway musical comedy was a "roaring twenties" New York extravaganza at the Apollo Theater, replete with a jazz score by Ray Henderson, brightly colored sets by Waller, and a story line that regaled with a classic rags-to-riches tale. Produced by the prolific George White, it ran from September 26, 1927 to May 12, 1928 and starred Ed Wynn, Ona Munson, and White himself.
