Burr," as Senator, to his business associate Timothy Green, urging him to pay a debt of $4,500 to [Ebenezer?] Hazard, recommending that his stake in a land deed be sold, and suggesting a possible buyer for the portion that lies in Genesee [NY]. 1 page, 4to, faint marginal discoloration from prior matting, staining at all corners, folds. "Mr. Strong has advised me of your safe return, but has said nothing of
Business. I conclude therefore that you have been able to do nothing for me. At this moment I am pressed for 4500 Doll's due Hazard on a note endorsed by you. Pray consult with R[oger] S[trong] what can be done about it.
"Will it be possible to sell my contract with J[ames] Watson at any advance? I allude to the 60m acre tract.
"If Williamson of Genesee should have come down, he will probably buy the Lotts in that Country."
