Additional Details

"I . . . certainly would like to be at Douglas at the Old Timers reunion and mingle with the real old boys of the west. I have ridden Pony Express, whacked bulls, drove stage, and scouted in that country off and on from 1857 to 1876.
"Tell the Old Timers sorry I can't be with them.
"Set em up a few times for the old boys and give them my love. Tell them my hearts with them."
Men and women of the Old West reminisced at an annual meeting held at the Wyoming State Fair in Douglas, WY, from 1914 to at least 1920.
