Additional Details

Created by Gorey while a high school student at the Francis W. Parker School in Chicago, preceding his studies at the Art Institute of Chicago and Harvard. While most of his pseudonyms were anagrams of his "Edward Gorey," "Sinjun" was a phonetic version of his middle name, St. John.
