Rubricated, and with later(?) 14-line decorated initial B in colors and gold with floral extensions on first page. Folio, 373x281 mm, modern pigskin; varying marginal dampstaining, more conspicuous in second half of volume, scattered contemporary marginalia, repaired clean tear across [d]9, blue initials and paragraph marks in the rubrication toward end apparently overwritten later; red edges. Early inscription of the Augustinian Monastery of Groenendael in Brabant; bookplates of the Emperor Maximilian of Mexico, José Maria Andrade, George Dunn, and Albert Ehrman, with the latter's initialled collation note; unidentified owner's monogram stamp ("AC"); another unidentified owner's pencil note dated 1967; embossed stamp and pencil ownership inscription of Detlef Mauss dated 1991.
