Rubricated. with seven-line decorated initial and three-quarter illuminated border in colors and gold on a2r incorporating 3 linked roundels in lower margin containing depictions of 2 men with shields and lances and woman with bow and arrow; similar decoration on g1r with floral and ornamental motifs instead of figures in the roundels. Folio, 357x256 mm, contemporary blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards with manuscript vellum lettering piece on front cover, spine painted white with 18th-century leather lettering pieces and paper shelf labels, lacking catches and clasps, numerous small wormholes through covers and front and back of contents causing slight text loss on first few leaves but otherwise generally not impairing legibility; contents mostly clean apart from dampstain in lower margin of c1-3 and irregular light browning on m7, blank lower outer corner off q3, paper flaw in blank lower outer corner of t1.
