Samella Lewis illustrates another smaller version, a 6 inch cast, in her Barthé: His Life in Art. In 1944-47, Barthé also made a life-size, 72 inch version, for St. Jude's School, Montgomery, Alabama, a Roman Catholic school for African-Americans. Lewis p. 51; Vendryes p. 136.
