Additional Details

"I did not have the time or the place to compose a new romance. I returned to St. Petersburg and searched out the old romance. I'm ready to send it to you, but am waiting . . . for the poem, which you forgot to write for me: do I have the right after 2 years to pass this romance for publication to whomever I want? I suppose that this will not bring harm to the collection you publish, since in 2 years no one will buy it anymore. . . ."
