Rubinstein," to an unnamed recipient (lacking salutation), in French, agreeing to attend his party tomorrow evening, mentioning his imminent departure for Russia, and sending regards to Mrs. de Bülow. 1 page, 8vo, thin and ruled paper; chipping at right and lower edges touching signature with minor loss to text, few short closed tears at left and right edges, horizontal folds. "There are so many people who celebrate my definitive departure for Russia that I only have a few days for those who, I like to believe, aren't making a festival of it and in whose number I would like very much to count you--I would come tomorrow evening without fail and enjoy in advance much of the pleasant soiree that I will spend in your company, as kind as it is interesting. . . ."
