Folio, 16 1/4x10 1/4 inches, contemporary worn and detached calf boards, frontis and title-page loose, desires binding; large tear to margin of N5 not affecting text, most plates and maps with some degree of age toning and spotting, several with minor splits at centerfold margins, general Americas and New Discription of Carolina folding maps with little fault. Additional Details

Second issue of Ogilby's English translation of Montanus's work, De Nieuwe en Onbekende Weerld, published in same year. Complete as issued, with the Arx Carolina plate and the Virginia pars Australis & Florida map replaced with the large folding "First Lords Proprietors" map and the map of Barbados at page 377.
