Thick quarto, approx 9 1/2 x 11 3/8 inches tall, a collection of fonts ancient and modern, Ecritures Grecs & Gothiques Fantaisies, Signes, Divers, Lettrines, Initiales, Chiffres, Chapterheads printed on colored stock, bound in publisher's quarter-black morocco and dark blue cloth decoratively stamped in gilt, decorative endpapers, cloth largely faded to charcoal, gilt dull, significant rubbing with small chips, bumps and frays to spine ends and corners, dusting and spots to bulked edges, one leaf loose, overall clean and solid internally, good or better. Tholenaar bookplate to front paste-down.
