Compelling group of illustrations, hand-painted in gouache, on 42 colored pages, depicting various office supplies from European companies featuring products such as ash trays, pencils, scissors, measuring tapes, fans, inkwells, pencil sharpeners, stamps, notepads and planners. Each illustration with a handwritten title, in French, and a price for the item, numerous diagonal thin, clean slits on each page where former cards or explanatory material was displayed (visible, but not obtrusive.) Album measures 10x13 1/2 inches, pages hole-punched and string-tied to discarded board binding of French periodical. Nd, circa 1920s.
