Pre-Prohibition whiskey advertisement for Kentucky distiller I.W. Harper. After the ban was enacted, Harper's was one of only ten distilleries in the country allowed to legally produce for medicinal purposes. Decades later, James Bond enjoyed an I.W. Harper bourbon over ice in Ian Fleming's 1963 book On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
