Additional Details

An unobtrusive advertisement or calendar design (unpublished?) for
the American branch of the Swedish manufacturer of popular milk
separating machines. Frank Phares was a scholarship student in 1915
and 1916 at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia. He
was a landscape painter, drew sheet music covers and worked as a
retoucher for the State of New Jersey. His best known illustrations
were in collaboration with Zane Grey.
