The Talon ad ran in The New York Times Magazine and Women's Wear Daily. As recollected by the owner, a former Delehanty, Kurnit and Geller art director, Wilson submitted the work to him yet felt that something was still missing. He then pulled from his pocket a cut-out of the belly-up frozen bird and placed it to the side of the bus stop whereupon they both declared it perfect.
