The press photographs include an image of Buck with his 1930 bestseller Bring 'Em Back Alive. The group also includes five photographs that are stills from the 1928 film Simba: King of the Beasts which was a travelogue following the American couple Osa and Martin Johnson on a four-year expedition in Africa. Silver prints, the images measuring approximately 7 1/2x9 1/2 inches (19.1x24.1 cm.), and the reverse, the sheets slightly larger, each with a Roland Butler Press Agent stamp, 12 with Buck's credit in pencil, and four with the Simba credit and caption in pencil, on verso. 1928-50
