first edition of this very curious narrative about the author, a dentistry student's youth in Liberia. Not the usual religion tainted tale, DeWalt's narrative deals more with hunting incidents and the dangers of the forest, including a two-headed snake---one at each end (!) While the title-page lists four other titles by DeWalt, this is the only one listed by OCLC (four copies located).
