Additional Details

the rare first edition and second revised edition of the first guide to an african colony written by an African author. A. B. C. Merriman-Labor was an Anglo-African native of Sierra Leone and the author of several books; one of them a very funny lampoon titled 'Britons through Negro Spectacles,' the other, more serious, 'Racial Discrimination in Edwardian Britain.' All of Merriman-Labor's books are scarce.
