The lot includes an exterior view of Rufus Morgan's photographic studio in Charlotte, N. C., a rich occupational portrait of chimney sweeps by J. N. Wilson of Savannah, workers posing by a cotton press in Aiken, S. C. by J. A. Palmer, a view of students and family members before Howard University, and 23 other images. Albumen prints, each on flat mounts with the photographer's printed or handwritten caption and/or credit on mount recto or verso. 1860s-70s
