Additional Details

The Flying Ace told the story of a World War One fighter pilot who returned home to solve crimes, and featured an "all colored cast." The brochure urges movie theaters to book the show, with examples of the window cards and other promotional materials available, long descriptions of the cast, and notes on other coming attractions. Suggestion: "You can't crowd all the colored population of your city into your theatre in one day. . . . Book it for a longer run than the usual colored picture." The smaller Zircon flier promotes a "Colored Serial Supreme," as well as three earlier Norman Films productions.
