Np, 21 June 1780 Partly printed promissory note issued to James Liberty of the "Connecticut Line of the Continental Army" for pay due; punched cancellation hole. Treasury Office, 1 June 1782; signed on verso with Liberty's "x," and with additional signatures attesting to payment through 1789.
