The photographs depicting everyday scenes including hunting, whaling, mining, sledding, and weddings as well as landscape and mountain imagery. Albumen (2) and silver (30) prints, the images measuring 5 7/8x3 3/4 to 9 3/4x7 3/4 inches (14.9x9.5 to 24.8x19.7 cm.), and the reverse, a few with credits and dates in the negative; the silver prints are on slightly larger later mounts, each with labels, captions, dates, and other notations, on mount verso. 1890s-1910s
