Includes: 6 photographs, each about 7 x 5 inches on plain black mounts, depicting Alaskan scenes, one stamped "Seymour Narrows at Mid-Tide," the others uncaptioned. The Seymour Narrows and another depicting native children have been identified as the work of photographer Douglas Tancred (1870-1923) circa 1890-1900, as the negatives are held at the University of Washington; the other four seem to be from the same set 2 mounted Alaska photographs by W.B. Byram of Pasadena, CA: "The Muir Glacier" and "The Greek Church, Sitka" Untitled view of boaters rowing past an Alaskan town, 4 1/2 x 8 inches, with backstamp of the Sitka View & Portrait Company / Reuben Albertstone & Co. circa 1890.
