Additional Details

first edition. Describes events on the Texas frontier in 1866. Though often reprinted, we have traced only one other copy of this first edition at auction. Eberstadt offered one in his 1963 catalogue, and noted that it was "printed in an edition thought to have been limited to only 50 copies." Howes B108 suggests it should have a half-title; OCLC and the Library of Congress copy do not.
