The Boorne & May photo studio partnership was formed in Calgary in 1887 and continued through at least 1894. They boasted of Sun Dance photos in the 23 September 1887 Calgary Weekly Herald, perhaps taken at the Assiniboine Reserve sun dance held north of Regina the previous June.
