(AMERICAN INDIANS.) Quilt of tobacco silks, most featuring American Indian chiefs. Quilt, 16 x 16 inches, composed of 38 small S67 Tokio Indian Silks (some of them duplicates), two larger unidentified Indian silks, and four small flag silks, each stitched to a linen backing with red linen borders between each silk. The silks were issued as promotional inserts with packages of cigarettes. The compiler carefully excised or covered over the header and footer of each silk to improve the display, but on a few on the bottom row, "Tokio Cigarettes" is faintly visible in the fringe.
