Additional Details

Chief Rain in the Face (circa 1835-1905) was one of the leaders of the Lakotas at Little Bighorn; some sources claim that he was the one who personally dispatched George Armstrong Custer. He later became a good friend and favorite subject of the photographer David Barry.
