SIGNER FROM PENNSYLVANIA (AMERICAN REVOLUTION.) CLYMER, GEORGE. Document Signed, endorsing a land deed between Samuel Meredith and John Maxwell Nesbitt, for 17 tracts of land comprising over 5000 acres in Susquehanna County for a mere 5 pounds of Pennsylvania currency. The deed in a secretarial hand, but with an Autograph Endorsement Signed by Meredith (the first Treasurer of the U.S.) asking for Clymer's approval. Signed by Clymer, "I agree. G. Clymer" at the bottom right corner of the second page, along the gutter. Also with two later endorsements by clerks. 4 pages, folded 4to sheet; some chips at edges, separated along folds on the conjugate leaf. [Philadelphia], November 1789
