Additional Details

"In consequence of Lieut. Col Antill's promise, that a monthly return of Hazen's Regiment should be made to me on Friday last . . . I have postponed the General Return in expectation of it's arrival to this moment, but as I am of opinion that any further delay might be attended with an unseasonable arrival of the Return of the two Regiments, I have . . . formed the inclosed . . . noting the omission of Hazen's & the cause.
"I shall start in the morning for Fort Herkimer and will forward Hazen's return without delay."
