Letter Signed, "W Heath MG" to Deputy Paymaster General Ebenezer Hancock, ordering him to pay Samuel Barrett & Co. $6,364 "to pay for Sundry Hospital Stores purchased by order of Doct. Foster." Countersigned by Seth Loring and Samuel Barrett. Written on verso of an Autograph Letter Signed by Foster to Samuel Barrett, referring the matter to Heath. 1 page, folded 4to sheet, the blank separated; separations at folds repaired with tape, mildew staining.
