Lee (1756-1818) famed American Revolution General, served under Washington, nicknamed "Light Horse Harry" because of his successful command of light troops, delegate to the Continental Congress 1786-88, Governor of Virginia 1791-94, sent by Washington to suppress the Whiskey Rebellion, father of Robert E. Lee.
