Willett (1740-1830) Revolutionary patriot and soldier, member of the Sons of Liberty prior to the war, served as an officer in several campaigns with New York regiments including Sullivan's Expedition, served as Sheriff of New York City from 1784-88 and Mayor of New York in 1807.
