Additional Details

"Our encampment is situated in a large valley near a nasty brook which causes a fog to rise which when mixt with the abominable filth that settles from ye neighboring encampment on ye hill makes it very unwholesom. . . . Our people continue fortifying . . . & are determined to carry it round upon a point of land which will be almost opposite ye regular guard. The regulars fire upon them some more or less every day."
