The incomplete first volume of New Jersey's first enduring newspaper, beginning with Volume I, Issue 6. The 7 October issue contains an important account of the Baylor Massacre in northern New Jersey: "Several of our soldiers were murdered after they had surrendered." Also includes several acts and proclamations by Governor William Livingston, and a column in which he poses as a patriotic semi-literate Trenton woman, using the pseudonym "Belinda" (6 May).
