These small prints were produced for insertion in the "Historisch-genealogischer Calender . . . fuer 1784," a German work which was one of the first picture-books of the American Revolution. Subjects include the Boston Tea Party, the Battle of Lexington, Franklin's arrival in France, Rochambeau's landing at Newport, the evacuation of New York, and more.
