This French print relied on the 1775 Shepherd mezzotint from England, but cites a painting by "Champbell." Putnam is surrounded by flags, and as in the Shepherd print, his elbow rests upon a cannon. We cannot trace this French rendition on OCLC; none others known at auction since 1916.
