Group of 36 photographs associated with the yacht Resolute, which won the 1920 America's Cup, including 18 prints by Morris Rosenfeld, 15 by Edwin Levick, and 3 by an unidentified photographer.
The photographs include images of the Resolute's crew members, an exceptional view of starboard bow of the yacht with Bob Emmons (at right), Shamrock IV to weather of Resolute, Jack Parkinson at the wheel of the Resolute, multiple scenes of the second (postponed) race against the Shamrock IV, afterguards of the Resolute and Shamrock IV, J.P. Morgan's Corsair following the vessels, and more. Silver prints, the images measuring 4x3 to 7 1/4x9 1/4 inches (10.2x7.6 to 18.4x24.1 cm.), mounted recto/verso, with Rosenfeld's and Levick's embossed blind stamps on prints recto; includes a period handwritten list of Resolute's crew members mounted on one sheet; contents loose and overall very good (but with a gilt-lettered front cover, chips and edgewear); caption information on cards (in a later hand) laid in. 1920
