first limited edition. number 327 of 1000 copies of the special architect's edition. An important book by the major creator of what was to become "California style" architecture. Most of the pictures were taken by Requa himself as the first in-depth study of southwestern buildings, gardens, and design details with regard to creating a similar "logical and appropriate" style. The portfolio was issued one year before the trade edition and was presented to architects, schools, and libraries.
