The photographs document the construction of the silk mill from foundation to completion in chronological construction views, including sweeping photographs of the area, raw materials, workers laying foundation, steel framing, and brick-laying. Silver prints, the images measuring 10 1/2x13 1/2 inches (26.7x34.3 cm.), linen backed, most with dates in the negative and a Thomas hand stamp on verso.
