Second edition of a voyage in search of the Northwest Passage in the British naval ships Racehorse and Carcass. On page 59 is an account of a frightening walrus attack: "They joined in an attack upon the boat, wrested an oar from one of the men, and were with difficulty prevented from staving or oversetting her; but a boat from the Carcass joining ours, they dispersed."
