Samuel Boote (1844-1921) was an Argentine photographer who, in addition to the usual portraiture work, produced several albums of views for sale. This particular album appears to be otherwise unknown. Most of these photographs depict rural scenes from the Pampas: cattle, farm buildings, laborers, and country estates.
