Number 377 of 400 copies, signed by John Mason Brewer. A collection of Texas folk tales illustrated by John Biggers (1924-2001). Biggers was one of the first African American artists to travel to Africa to familiarize himself with actual African design and symbolism. Only the second copy we have seen of this work.
