Additional Details

Most of the work in these sketchbooks reflects Warren's time in the Army in the 1950's, with drawings of fellow soldiers, officers etc, with some very humorous caricaturing. The artist is well represented in several institutions, including Yale's Beineke Library. One of the sketchbooks is titled "Fine Arts BEA," another "Sketches from Life '55." The third, rather shaken has no title.
