Additional Details

From a Private West Coast Collection.
There are 26 images of China in this album, and 7 of Japan. The photographer is possibly Van Aagesen, who may have given the album to one Mr. Christoffersen as a going away gift. Christoffersen was a secretary of the East India Company and Aagesen a lawyer, possibly for the company, which was Danish. The dedication in front is by Aagesen.
